How we came
together
APN Sweden was born from a simple but powerful reality: across Sweden, there is a growing community of highly talented African professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders navigating new environments, building meaningful careers, and contributing significantly to society however, often without enough structured spaces for connection, visibility, and collective advancement.
What began as a desire to bring people together has evolved into a professional community built on collaboration, shared growth, and the belief that African excellence deserves to be visible, connected, and celebrated. APN was created to foster meaningful relationships, encourage knowledge exchange, and create platforms where professionals can learn, thrive, and contribute to each other’s journeys.
Today, through initiatives such as ProTalks, Fireside Chats, mentorship programs, and community gatherings, APN continues to create spaces where ambition meets community, ideas spark opportunity, and African professionals in Sweden can grow together with purpose and impact.
